Trudy qualified as a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist with the well respected North London School of Sports Massage in 2005. Since then she has worked in osteopathy and physiotherapy clinics in Surrey treating a wide range of clients including international sportspeople. Many of her clients are keen amateur athletes, but a large number also suffer from work related and postural issues. In addition others seek massage treatment to aid restoration of range of movement after surgery.
Trudy has a special interest in treating runners. She was a committed athlete for many years competing for both Sutton Runners and South London Harriers and knows how frustrating it is to become injured. Trudy is commited to helping you avoid injury and in assisting you as much as she can if you are already in trouble.
Before gaining her sports massage diploma Trudy qualified as a Personal Trainer with Central YMCA Qualifications in 2004. She became increasingly interested in sports injuries & rehabilitation which inspired her to study sports massage. Her personal training knowledge is an invaluable aid for advising clients on remedial exercise.
Trudy has completed numerous CPD courses including advanced seminars on treating hip, back and neck pain, runner's injuries, shoulder girdle pain and strapping and taping.
